Faculty Development Program (FDP)
Management teachers play a vital role in nurturing proficient future managers in business and non-business organizations. Hence it is essential for management teachers to have an in-depth knowledge of general management principles, the latest research and industrial developments, practical understanding of necessary pedagogical techniques and research skills.
Against this backdrop, the Faculty Development Program (FDP) at SBS endeavors to add to the professional development of management professionals and academicians presently working in various management institutions and business schools across India.
SBS FDP program includes various modules that provide training on core general management principles, pedagogical techniques (including case method), cutting-edge research methods and latest developments in specialized areas. The program employs mix method approach and includes classrooms session (lectures, case analysis, small group exercises, simulations, management games, and presentations), workshops and seminars. Usually, the participant take away more than just a class-room related experience as he/she enjoys learning environment of the SBS campus, access to the library resources, and interactions with bright students and faculty colleagues from diverse backgrounds.

We need faculty members having strong commitment to produce high quality research, publishable in top academic journals, and demonstrate the ability to teach in post-graduate and doctoral programs in management. For higher positions, the candidates must demonstrate research and teaching excellence.
The eligibility criteria: As per UGC/ AICTE Norms
Assistant Professor
Candidates should have a Ph.D. or equivalent with a brilliant academic background. Those about to complete their doctoral degree
may also apply.
Associate Professor
Candidates should have a Ph.D. or equivalent with a successful track record of research and publications and a minimum of 5 years of teaching/research experience, of which at least 5 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor at an institution of repute.
Professor
Candidates should have a Ph.D. or equivalent with a successful track record of research and publication and a minimum of 10 years of teaching/research experience, of which at least 5 years should be at the level of Associate Professor at an institution of repute.
Salary and Perquisites
Salary, Plus allowances and superannuation benefits as per the norms.
For all the above positions, contractual or visiting appointments for specific periods will also be considered.
