The Academics at SASMIRA’S Business School (SBS) takes a new look at management education with its learning pedagogy focusing on a corporate end-user-driven curriculum, designed and taught by the best of corporate leader/ faculty members to create the next generation of corporate leaders.
Assessment Centre
As a continuous process, assessment establishes measurable and clear outcomes for learning, provisioning a sufficient amount of learning opportunities to achieve these outcomes, implementing a systematic way of gathering, analyzing and interpreting evidence to determine how well student learning matches expectations, and using the collected information to inform improvement in student learning.

The SBS Assessment Centre will constantly evaluate the performance of the students at three levels –
- First-level assessment includes tools like Management Quizzes, Management games, Group discussions, Case study competitions, etc.
- The second Level Assessment includes tools like MCQs, Mid-term tests, Aptitude tests, Roleplay and mock interviews, Real-time case study discussions and presentations, etc.
- The third level assessment will be the final moderation of the overall performance of the student.
The entire exercise is done in accordance to the course outcome and also includes the rubric mechanism. Each activity of the student will be evaluated and at the end a mark sheet comprising of their score in each activity will be given to the students.

Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) offered by Sasmira’s Business School is a Two-Year Full-Time Program Approved AICTE and Recognized by DTE, Government of Maharashtra. It is a unique program offering functional specialization with sectoral exposure with an emphasis on developing transformational Leadership among the students. Induction
When new students enter an institution, they come with diverse thoughts, backgrounds and preparations. It is important to help them adjust to the new environment and inculcate in them the ethos of the institution with a sense of larger purpose.
The program is designed according to the AICTE norms to support new students as they begin their journey at Sasmira’s Business School. During the course of the program, new students are introduced to life at the College, from academics and community norms to help the students to develop the requisite attitudes, values, skills, sensitivity and make them industry competent
The students of PGDM 2025-27 batch received a warm welcome on the occasion of the induction program, to support and encourage new students to begin their journey at Sasmira’s Business School. The detailed report is attached.
Convocation
SBS holds its Annual Convocation Ceremony for conferment of degrees to the students after the completion of two years of Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM).
