The Synthetic and Art Silk Mill's Research Association (SASMIRA) was established on January 12, 1950 and is an approved body of the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India.
SASMIRA's Business School (SBS) established in the year 2018 belongs to the family of 75 years old SASMIRA, which has a rich educational heritage in the area of Textile and Management education.
SASMIRA's Business School (SBS) offers Two Years Full Time Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) with Dual Specialization approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, and Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra and Govt. of Maharashtra. It is located at Worli, in the heart of Mumbai city which is the commercial capital of India, thus providing SBS with a strategic advantage of having a strong industry interface. SBS also provides state-of-the-art infrastructure facilities and is well-connected through Mumbai Metro, Railways and all forms of public transport.
SBS focusses on management education through industry designed and end-user-driven curriculum, taught by the best of corporate professional and learned faculty members to create the next-generation corporate leaders. Infrastructure: Everything about the infrastructure is very good, there are air-conditioning classrooms and well-furnished office with wooden flooring. Our institute provides parking facility, which includes two-wheeler and four-wheeler. It also provides security, and other staff members are also good. The taste of the food served in the canteen is average. I am overall satisfied with our institute’s facilities.
Placements: We had Summer placements have and various companies like Finlatics, Aditya Birla, Amul and many more companies visited our institute and the students were placed. All the students got internships from our college.

The Sasmira’s Business School (SBS) campus is built on the lines of some of the best B-schools in India with a broad range of dedicated facilities with all the modern teaching tools that generate learning and a competitive environment.
